Nd-YAg laser is a newer technique of laser hair removal. Its biggest advantage is that it usually works on all types of skin, in particular, even on tanned skin and on darker skin. This is something other lasers cannot do. But still ideal results have not been obtained with fine, light or white hair. The YAG laser system is usually recommended for tanned skin or darkest skin. For optimum results, 6-8 sessions are recommended at a gap of 1 month between each session. The Nd-YAG laser is of 1044nm2 joules length and best suited for permanent hair reduction of hair type 2 & 3.
